Sell Air Jordan 4

SELL YOUR Air Jordan 4 for Cash in Brooklyn, NYC

The Air Jordan 4 has arguably the most devoted following of any model in the line. Where the 1 is the historical icon, the 4 is the sneaker enthusiasts keep coming back to, and its retro releases consistently sell out and hold value well past release day.

It is also a more complex shoe to assess than a Jordan 1. The netting on the quarter panel, the plastic wings and the TPU heel tab are all parts that age and can crack, and the 4's midsole is more prone to visible yellowing because of how much of it is exposed.

That complexity is exactly why bringing it to someone who knows the model matters. We check the specific wear points that a general buyer would miss.

What Moves The Number

WHAT YOUR Offer DEPENDS ON

Netting and wing integrity

The 4's mesh quarter panels and plastic wing eyelets are the model's known weak points. Torn netting and cracked wings are specific to this silhouette and are among the first things we inspect.

Midsole yellowing

The 4 exposes a lot of midsole, so oxidation shows more obviously here than on other Jordans. On the white-midsole colorways it is the most visible age indicator there is.

Colorway heritage

Colorways tied to the model's original 1989 run and to its cultural moments carry a premium that newer general releases do not. The style code identifies which you have.

Size and condition together

Men's 9 through 11 clear fastest. A deadstock pair in a common size will usually outperform a rare size in worn condition.

FAQs

AIR JORDAN 4 Questions

Are Jordan 4s worth more than Jordan 1s?

It depends far more on the specific release than on the model. Broadly, retro 4s tend to hold their value strongly because supply is more limited than the 1, but a hyped 1 collaboration will outperform an ordinary 4 every time.

The netting on mine has a small tear. Does that ruin it?

It does not ruin it, but it is a known 4-specific issue and it does move the offer. Torn netting is difficult to repair invisibly, and buyers who know the model check for it, so we assess it honestly rather than glossing over it.

Do you buy older Jordan 4 retros from the 90s and 2000s?

Yes, and some of the older runs are genuinely sought after. Be aware that shoes of that age can suffer from midsole crumbling as the foam degrades — we check for it, since it affects whether the shoe is wearable.

Should I clean my Jordan 4s before bringing them in?

A light surface clean is fine and helps us see the shoe properly. Do not attempt to whiten yellowed midsoles or use harsh solvents on the netting or suede — amateur restoration usually costs more in value than the dirt did.
