SELL YOUR MacBook Pro for Cash in Brooklyn, NYC
MacBook Pros hold their value better than any other laptop we handle, and the reason is specific: the people buying them used are professionals whose work depends on the machine. Video editors, developers, photographers and music producers replace hardware on a cycle and buy the previous generation deliberately, because the performance is still more than adequate for the job.
That professional demand means specification matters far more on a Pro than on an Air. Memory and storage are soldered to the board on Apple silicon, so a 32GB machine is permanently a 32GB machine — nobody can upgrade it later, and buyers pay for that.
Bring yours in and we will run the full diagnostic in front of you, including the battery cycle count and the ports.

What Moves The Number
WHAT YOUR Offer DEPENDS ON
Memory and storage configuration
The biggest swing on this model. RAM and SSD are soldered, so a high-memory Pro is permanently more capable than a base one and priced accordingly by the professionals shopping for it.
Screen size
The 16-inch commands a clear premium over the 14-inch at equivalent specification, because the buyers who want a large portable display have no alternative in the Mac line.
Battery cycle count
Pros get used hard. A machine under 300 cycles stands out immediately against the typical work laptop that has been through 600 or more.
Display condition
We check for the anti-reflective coating wear that shows as cloudy patches, along with pressure marks from something being left on the keyboard when the lid closed. Both are common and both are visible to a buyer.
Condition
EVERY Condition CONSIDERED

FAQs
MACBOOK PRO Questions
Does having more RAM really increase what you pay?
Significantly, on Apple silicon. Because memory is fused to the chip and can never be added, a 32GB or 64GB machine is permanently more capable than a 16GB one. Professional buyers know this and pay a real premium for it.
How do I check my battery cycle count?
Hold Option and click the Apple menu, choose System Information, then Power in the sidebar. The cycle count is listed there. Under 300 is low, and anything past 1000 means the battery is at the end of its rated service life.
Is a Touch Bar MacBook Pro worth selling?
Yes, though expect substantially less than an Apple silicon machine. Those are Intel models that have aged off macOS support. They still find buyers for lighter work, but the value declines each year — selling sooner is better.
There are marks on my screen from the keyboard. Does that matter?
It does. Those pressure marks are wear in the anti-reflective coating and cannot be polished out. It is a common issue and we account for it, but it is visible to buyers so it does move the number.
