iCloud Activation Lock
This is the single biggest one. A phone still signed into someone's Apple Account cannot be reactivated and is worth a fraction of a clean device. Sign out of Find My before you come in — Settings, your name, Find My, then toggle it off.
Battery health
Anything at 85% or above reads as healthy. Below 80% the phone is flagged for service, and that shows up in the offer because the buyer on the other end will need to budget for a battery.
Carrier status and financing
A phone with an unpaid installment balance stays tied to the carrier account and can be blacklisted later. We check the IMEI against the reported-lost and unpaid-balance databases before making an offer.
Storage tier
The spread between a base-storage phone and the top tier is wider on Pro models than on the standard line, because the people buying used Pros are the ones who care about capacity.

IPHONE Questions
Do I need to erase my iPhone before selling it?
Please do, and more importantly sign out of iCloud first. Settings, tap your name, turn off Find My iPhone, then Settings, General, Transfer or Reset. A phone with Activation Lock still on cannot be resold and we cannot pay full value for it.
Will you buy an iPhone that is still being financed?
We check the IMEI first. If there is an unpaid balance the phone can be blacklisted by the carrier weeks later, which is a problem for whoever ends up with it. We will tell you exactly what the check shows and what that means for the offer.
My screen is cracked. Is it still worth bringing in?
Yes. Cracked-screen iPhones have a steady market — the logic board, cameras, and housing all have value even when the display does not. Do not pay for a third-party screen repair before selling; an aftermarket screen usually lowers the offer more than the repair cost.
Do you need the box and charger?
No. They add a little to the offer on a sealed or like-new device, and essentially nothing on a used one. Bring them if they are handy, but do not make a second trip for them.
Can I sell an iPhone that is not in my name?
You need to be able to sign out of the Apple Account on the device and show ID. New York requires us to record identification for every purchase. If you cannot get into the account, we cannot buy the phone.
